Paper placemats in diners all have ads on them. I always flip em over, not so much out of anti beer marketing desire, but just rather see white than some ugly ad. at this particular place, patatipatata, a cooperative emloyee owned "aternative" diner, looking around i notice that all the patrons do the same.
