Yeah... ugh... I mean... I guess I meant "finally" as in "finally these twits are offering more camfones".
I am on the verge of barging down to Fido headquarters and giving them a piece of my mind... When they finally offered the P800, not only was it already over a year old on the market, but at $1000 it was too expensive for something that felt like a cheap toy.
So now they have the T616, which is also about a year old. The competing service provider offers it also now, as well as that Nokia you got Pete. But I don't want a Nokia.
Treo 600 is totally what I want. But I have NO doubt it won't be available here till next year and even then they'll, as usual, target it to the "busienss user" (Like I've EVER met an exec who knew how to configure his own email account, let alone use such a device properly), and will sell it for some ungodly amount.
Hello grey market?

I can see the word 'Turmoil' written over your forehead ;) But, if the t616 is the same as the t610 over here then you probably should think again. The phone and it's OS are perfectly fine, but the camera takes dismal pics - we're talking 300px dims or less here...
Have you seen the p900? Soooo lush...
I would have thought, that we could sort something out and buy you one on a pay as you go contract over here (no monthly bills or contracts...) and send you the phone - the sim that comes with it can be sold on over here. Because the phone will be unlocked and tri-band then it'll work fine for you... Might be worth thinking about - although I don't know if it would be cheaper for you to wait...
