Just took delivery on a brand new MacBook Pro. The only customized part was the 160Gig Hard Drive.
Unpacked, let the battery charge up to full.
Press the power button and ... ROOOAAARRRRRRrrrrrrrr...
Nice, the Hard Drive sounds like it is grinding itself into the pavement.
Sigh. Day one: tech support ticket one. Thankfully i-technique is around. Going by now and they'll hopefully have a new drive in by Wednesday. :p

Actually considering how much of my life I have spent appeasing and helping mac users in distress (oh how many hours of my life have been spent playing Apple Tech Support... for girlfriends, girlfriends' mothers, friends, buddies, colleagues... sigh)... that this would happen to me is just, well...
