I think it may be some sort of meta-cinema-type-thing where the audience will be filmed watching films...
Turned out to be a group of NFB dudes shooting a documentary about the lipsett guy. Some of the films were interesting, some dragged on a bit, all were amazing examples of what could be done with news and archival footage before "clearing" before use was the norm (they were all from the 60's, cultural schmorgasbord kind of things). Shouldn't the NFB (if not the cbc) start working towards a cultural commons a la BBC? (are they already?)
